Kaaliyah Barnes is a doctoral candidate at The Chicago School, where she is pursuing her Psy.D in School Psychology. Her training includes both school-based and clinical mental health services, and she plans to pursue licensure as a school psychologist while continuing her postdoctoral training towards becoming a clinical psychologist. Kaaliyah’s approach to treatment is rooted in being culturally responsive and strengths-based in order to empower the individual in every session.
