Physician Assistant
Zack Kuenstle is a board certified Physician Assistant with a passion for mental health. Zack completed his undergraduate work at Illinois Wesleyan University, where he earned a Bachelor of Arts in Biology as well as a Minor in Music. He then went on to earn his Masters of Medical Science in Physician Assistant Studies at Midwestern University in Downers Grove, Illinois.
In the multidisciplinary clinical portion of Zack’s education, he had the opportunity to complete his behavioral medicine training at Lovell Federal Healthcare Center in North Chicago. It was here that he learned how to properly diagnose and treat a wide variety of psychiatric conditions in the outpatient, inpatient, and emergency room settings.
Zack’s goal is to provide patient-centered, empathetic care to every patient he encounters at Advanced Behavioral Health. He believes in maintaining a strong therapeutic alliance and utilizes evidence-based medicine to create individualized treatment plans that will optimize his patients’ mental and physical well-being.
In his free time, Zack enjoys exercising, reading, and cheering on the Chicago Bulls.
